Permission matrix

Students and employees can download free software on the following pages using the blanket purchase agreement (german: Rahmenverträge).

Studisoft

This link refers to Studisoft webshop of the Würzburg University. The software is provided in cooperation with the Würzburg University.

Here you should choose "Technische Universität München" from drop-down menu and log in with your LRZ credentials and password.

1. Office Professional (Office 365)

Office is available only for students.

The Office software package consists only of the Office programs.
For privacy reasons all online and cloud function are being deactivated!!

On the Studisoft page you can find annotation including further office functionalities that are unusable.

2. Microsoft Imagine

Microsoft Imagine products are available for students as well as for employees of Technical University of Munich. However there are some differences – not MINT students and employee are provided with Microsoft Imagine Standard products while MINT students and employee get Imagine Premium products.

All available Microsoft products are listed in Studisoft. The programs on this page are for private usage (important especially for employees).
Für jedes Programm bekommt man seinen eigenen persönlichen Key. For every program you get individual key, with that you can activate more than one instances depending on the software. In general, the key is only for your personal usage and needs.

3. Think-cell

Think-cell is available for students and employees of Technical University of Munich.

Think-cell is a software used for creation of business presentation, that works in conjunction with Microsoft Power Point and Excel.

4. MS Campus EES

MS Campus products are only available for employees and it is interned to be be installed on their computer.

The programs should be activated via RBG KMS sever. Here you can find manual and further information about the installation. → KMS

5. Lab Keys (administrators)

There is one more special case.

An administrator is activating a software for a whole room. (e.g.: computer room, CIP Pool, etc.).

In this case, a lab key can be requested.

The head department issues a confirmation, that authorize you by
providing you license key X computer for ………… to install it for research purposes.
