What kind of assistance do we offer?

Mainly, we are here to help solve problems with the infrastructure of the computer operations group (RBG) of the Faculty for Computer Science and Mathematics. Feel free to contact us regarding the work stations in both of the big computer pools (Rechnerhalle), e.g. when a login is not working or the desktop appears to be frozen. Additionally, on a voluntary basis and at our own discretion, we try to solve problems and answer questions regarding any other systems, particularly private laptops and mobile phones (such as Wi-Fi related problems, questions about VPN and so on). As these services are voluntary, there is no right of assistance and we assume no responsibility for problems occuring during or after the problem solving process. We do try to help wherever we can depending on our ability and deadline constraints, though!


Office hours

Our office is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.
